5 UFO Sightings That Might Make You A Believer

It’s one of the ultimate questions we all wish we had an answer to: are aliens real? Given the vastness of the universe, it’s highly likely that some other form of intelligent life must be out there somewhere, but have aliens actually visited our own planet?

Many people claim to have seen or encountered aliens over the years. While a lot of these stories and sightings have been dismissed as hoaxes or tricks, some of them are eerily credible and might make you think again about the possibility of alien life right here on Earth.

Back in November of 2004, the crew on board the USS Princeton spotted something strange on their radar scans. It seemed like an unidentified object was about 100 miles off the California coast. What made this situation stranger was that the object seemed to appear at an extraordinary height of 80,000 feet and then dive down right over the ocean’s surface.

A pair of fighter jets were sent out to investigate. They reported odd movements in the water and a strange shadow under the surface. A white shape then appeared over the water. It didn’t seem to look like a regular aircraft, with no wings or windows. The jet pilots tried to intercept the aircraft, but it sped away in an instant.

Many claimed UFO sightings come with blurry photos as alleged evidence, but in 2017, we got something even better: a full video, filmed by fighter pilots as they tracked and chased what seemed to be a flying saucer in the sky.

The video was allegedly recorded in 2015 but didn’t come out until a couple of years later. It showed an encounter between the pilot of an F/A-18 Super Hornet jet and a truly unidentified aircraft. Strangely enough, the description and appearance of the craft seemed to match up with the case of the USS Princeton back in 2004.

It was November 7 of 2006, and flight 446 was scheduled to depart from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport over to North Carolina. Suddenly, an airline employee spotted an unusual metallic aircraft floating above gate C17.

In the minutes that followed, a total of 12 United Airlines employees and several other local witnesses all saw the craft, which apparently hovered in the air for a few minutes before zooming off into the air. It was big news at the time, and air traffic controllers had no real explanation for this incredible sighting.

Strange Lights over New Jersey

The most credible UFO sightings tend to involve multiple people witnessing the same thing. After all, multiple witnesses are always going to be more reliable than just one. Back in 2001, many drivers on the New Jersey Turnpike all saw something extraordinary, something that made them literally stop their cars and stare at the sky.

It was on July 14, just a little after midnight, when a strange V-shape formation of orange and yellow lights were spotted up in the night sky. Several local residents saw the lights, as well as a local police officer, Lt. Daniel Tarrant.

You probably haven’t heard of the little Texas town of Stephenville. It’s a small place, mostly made up of farms and fields, but in January of 2008, it played host to one of the more intriguing UFO sightings in American history. Many residents said they’d seen white lights floating in the sky.

A local pilot named Steve Allen suggested that the lights were arranged in a mile-long formation and flew at extraordinary speed over the town of Stephenville. A little while after the event, the military claimed that fighter jets have been flying in the area, but witnesses say the lights moved far too fast to be man-made.
