Cats love food. They do anything for food. They will disrupt your meals, stick their tails in your face while you are eating, and even sit on your plate while you are enjoying your meal. Well, this sat is in heaven as he landed head first in his favorite place in the world – his food bowl. He can even admire his natural acrobatic abilities and can stare up at his behind while eating!

It’s common knowledge that cats love milk. This is something that has been known for years, but did you know that many cats are actually lactose intolerant? This means that they are allergic to milk. They should have made Garfield’s lasagna dairy-free. Did you know this already?
The Magic Cat
It appears that this furry fella can fly with his back to the floor. They say cats can see things humans can’t. Maybe he thinks he is magic and is levitating by free will. Well, they say a cat has nine lives so maybe actually he fell off his sleeping place on the couch and wants to see if he will still live after he lands on his back.

There is a myth that ‘A cat always lands on its feet’. However, this isn’t really a myth. Some cats have fallen more than 320 meters onto concrete and come away unharmed. Why is this? Cats have more time to prepare for the landing on the way down, so they are likely to survive high falls.
The Cat Who Can Expand Himself
Cats usually have small adorable faces – that’s why we love them so much. They’re just so small and cute – unless they are big Maine Coons of course – then they’re really big! This white kitty loves to stare at his “friends” in the water. They’re just so appealing. Maybe little kitty is just waiting for his chance to push them over the table and dash open his mouth to open and swallow!

This cat might like to stare, but it isn’t recommended to stare at your cat for long periods of time. It is seen as threatening and will make them feel uneasy. Cats are also known to like to spend time on their own, unlike dogs they can play on their own, like in the photograph of above.
There Was an Old Lady Who Lived in A House
Staring out windows are part of the glory of being a cat. Staring at what is out there in the big world fascinates cats as they really are truly curious. Another love of cats are cat houses. Cats can’t get enough of them. When you buy one for your kitty and place it before them, they really get excited (in their non-communicating aloof way) and probably say “Ye, look who’s really the king of this castle. Bow down, man servant.”

Cats also know how to get what they want from us. According to a study from 2009, the cat’s mimic crying babies. It is said that if a cat wants food it will make a sound between a 220 to 520-hertz frequency range and humans find it difficult to ignore.
Copying Mom
Sometimes you really have to wonder where domesticated cats get their sitting habits. Street cats are not weird. They know how to sit like… cats. Well, this cat just needs a toothpick, hat with a feather, and maybe some boots and he will be able to look like “Puss in Boots.” Or maybe he was just copying what Mom looks like on the couch.

Did you know that cats enjoy sitting on warm objects? This could explain why your cat likes to sit on your computer so often. This also means that in the wintertime cats will sit under the wheels of your car to get some warmth. Make sure to check under your car before driving your car!
“I Want My Bananas”
Kitties like rubbing themselves against things – all…the…time. When a cat rubs himself against someone or something, it means that they are being affectionate but it also means that it is marking its’ territory to make other cats aware. They especially love rubbing themselves against things they want access to – like bananas.

Now, everyone knows, bananas are not a staple in a cat’s diet, but some actually like the mushy sweet taste of them. Do you think this cat wants to eat the bananas? It could be that another cat is eyeing these bananas and this cat just wants to mark his territory. Or maybe this beauty just has an itch and by rubbing his body against the bananas they actually help!
The Baby Table
Cats think everything is a table – including you. Everything is a surface to them – even a little baby’s back. Well, it is flat enough. Luckily this baby doesn’t seem to mind. He’s rather happy as is the cat to share the same space. They even held the pose long enough to get a really good photo. According to statistics, cat owners are healthier than people who don’t own a cat. Your risk of having a heart attack is said to be lower if you own one.

Did you know that the front paws of a cat are different than the back paws? There are five toes on the front paws and only four toes on their back paws. Some cats are polydactyl and have extra toes. Some of these polydactyl cats can have up to eight toes per paw.
Neither Here Nor There
This little ginger cat is in quite a predicament. He doesn’t know where he is – is he inside, is he outside? Where exactly does he want to go? I guess staring out the window allows him to do his own little kitty yoga pose while breathing in nature and staring out into the wild with his lets spread right open.

Did you ever notice that your cat sleeps a lot? Cats sleep for about 16 hours per day on average. When a kitten sleeps growth hormones are being released, so they nap even more often than older cats. When it comes down to it, a cat can just really fast. House cats can run at a speed of 30 miles per hour.
What Did I Taste?
Clearly, this cat is not happy. He has tasted something that is not agreeing with him and is clearly very dramatic about it in his facial expression. His mom or dad will definitely know not to feed his whatever he just ate ever again because clearly, it looks like he will go crazy if he does!

Did you know that cats don’t like sweet foods? Perhaps this cat tasted something sweet. Also, there are a lot of plants that are poisonous for cats, but parsley, sage, and other herbs are usually a cat’s favorite food. Also, cats can’t survive eating a vegetarian diet. It’s important to be feeding your cat meat or fish. Sometimes they like to bring dead mice to you, but don’t worry it’s not usually for eating. This means that this cat likes you!
Sit But Stand
In this position, you get the best of both worlds. You can relax while sitting yet have the elegance of standing at the same time. Perhaps this kitty is practicing to strengthen his back muscles in order to be able to jump far distances in the future.

When cats are feeling threatened they will stand on their hind legs to make themselves look as large as possible. Think of it as a survival tactic, but if you see your cat standing on its hind legs, back up. Sometimes the older cats can be aggressive towards kittens. Cats will also stand on you to try to find a place to sleep. Cats mostly want a warm and comfortable place to relax and sleep.
The Philosopher
This cat is deep in thought. Perhaps he is thinking about his “childhood/kitten” days when he tasted catnip for the first time and tasted heaven. Or, maybe, he is thinking about all the ways he can get his human to feed him more delicious treats by sitting in funny poses on kitchen countertops.

This photo actually makes me think of when you lean or prop yourself up for a bit and just end up staying that way because it’s comfortable. You stay that way even though you know you won’t be able to feel your legs when you try to stand up. Next time, we should try to get a photo of this cat trying to walk after he stands up.
The Sun Worshipper
This cat absolutely loves the sun. He has no hair covering him so he looks for warmth wherever he can. He looks pretty regal staring out into the distance. His mom probably rubs lots of sunscreen on him before he gets sun exposure as you do with pets who have no hair. No matter what he looks serene and content.

Did you know that even though these cats are called hairless, they actually have a thin layer of fuzz covering their whole body? When you pet one you can probably feel the fuzz, and that they aren’t as soft as other cats. They almost have a feeling of suede. Many people believe they can get a hairless cat if they are allergic, but these cats also have the same allergens in their saliva and skin.
Imitating the Flour
Well, this kitty knows he is white and he knows flour is well, white! So maybe his human won’t really spot him in the kitchen, even though there will be ahead with whiskers sticking out. It seems that this kitty’s human likes to spend a lot of time in the kitchen so maybe if he plants himself in the flour container, he will get more attention (or just more delicious human food).

You probably have noticed that cats can usually fit in really small spaces. Cat’s spines are very flexible, and allow them to squeeze into these small spaces so it doesn’t bother them when they are squishing themselves in flour containers or small places. Their collarbone is not rigid, so they can squeeze through things as well.
This Cat Saw a Ghost
Well, this cat saw a ghost, or maybe it was a really, really big dog next door over the neighbor’s fence. It looks like he’s holding on for dear life. No matter what the case is he looks pretty terrified and unhappy. Hopefully whatever he has spotted hasn’t spotted him yet!

There are a few ways to tell if your cat is scared. This face is a very obvious one, but also they are known to run away, hide, show aggression, freeze in place, or refuse to use the litter box. They say you shouldn’t scare a cat because their reflex reaction could cause them to crash into furniture or land on something serious. We all heard that scaring your cat with cucumber is funny, but it’s not so recommended.
This Smart Cat
This little fella is just so proud of his bright orange bow tie that he just loves showing it off! “Look, mom, look at me and my beautiful bow tie!” Meanwhile, he is also calling out, “Mom, mom look I’m balancing on the glass table – look how pretty I look!” He really looks like one happy kitty.

Now the question comes up, is it good or bad to dress up your cat? At the end of the day, your cat gets cold also when the weather is not good or even if you’re keeping the air conditioner at a lower temperature. Dressing up your cat could just keep them warm and comfortable, especially if you use a nice fleece material.
Licking Up The Ginger Ale
“You can’t see me, you really can’t!” Well, maybe that’s what this kitty thinks. He’s being naughty – which cats usually are and doesn’t really care that he’s destroyed the ginger ale. Who knows, maybe after he has finished poking his head in the ginger ale he’ll be off on other exciting adventures in the kitchen. There’s always something around to play with.

Cats actually feel the safest when they have a place to go hide. This is basically why they always like to sit in squares on the floor or hide in boxes. If your cat does these kinds of things, you should fill up his space with places to hide so that he can feel safe in your home.
The Screaming Cat
People are in general, less eager to get black cats. They are actually superstitious about these little guys. As the superstition goes – never let a black cat cross your path. People couldn’t be more wrong about these gorgeous felines. This specific kitty seems to be screaming into the camera though. Maybe his human was invading his space.

Did you know that cats can recognize their owners’ voices but they act as if they don’t care? While we are less likely to get a black cat, there are approximately 14 million more house cats than dogs in the U.S. If you like cats in general, you are part of 11.5% of people around the world who consider themselves a ‘cat person’.
What Is Happening Here?
This shot is quite hilarious. Basically “Pluto” is carrying “Tom” on his back and “Jerry” is on top of “Tom.” At least they got the order right here. It’s a good thing these three are good friends otherwise there could be a lot of trouble going on. It looks as though they are more than calm.

It’s a good thing these three are good friends otherwise there could be a lot of trouble going on. It looks as though they are more than calm.
The Perfect Selfie
“Oh let me go human! I don’t get about being in a selfie. Let me gooooooooo!” It looks like this guy was not going to let his big kitty go until he got the perfect shot. Or maybe the problem is the way that the cat is being held. If we were being held like that we would also complain and have something to say. It almost seems like the cat is standing up in attack mode, meaning he feels scared.

I wouldn’t want to hold a cat that way, because I can only imagine what he would do to my clothes and my face. Did you know that a cat’s heart rate will beat at about 110-140 BPM, around twice as fast as the average human? This picture makes it seems like this cat’s BPM is at least up to 180.
The Cat Who Doesn’t Want To Play
When kids are really, really small all they want to do is hit and pull and rub and bite, and…maybe this kitty was just not having it. It looks like this cat is not very impressed and not very happy. “Please go away baby human and let me be!” Hopefully, the baby got the point and this cat is just relaxing in a box.

While cats don’t always want to play with children, dogs are really the pet to have in this case. Dogs and children make the cutest teams, and the dog just becomes protective of his young human friend. Cats just seem like such nice animals, but approximately 40,000 people per year suffer from cat bites in America.
This Catnip Got To Him
This adorable kitty got just way too much catnip and is now paying the price – in fact, it looks like he is about to pass out and fall off the bed. Just wait… Maybe this feeling will pass and he will be ok. Right now, he looks like he just needs oodles of kisses and hugs.

Some estimate that more than half of cats are overweight and 25% of cats are just obese. Cats a lot of the time get larger when they eat too much and don’t exercise. Yes, cats need more sleep than humans, but they still need some exercise so they can stay in shape. Also, a lot of cats are just left with a huge bowl of food all the time. It is best to give them about 15 small meals throughout the day.
This Little “Creature”
“The money is mine…ALL MINE!” says this little Sphynx cat. One thing is for sure – he has his priorities straight and knows what’s important in life. You see – he knows that his favorite treats cost and maybe if he saves enough money, he can hand over his savings to his mom who can buy another toy mouse.

Crows are usually known for being attracted to shiny things. Cats will not only play with sparkly items, but they will also hoard them for later. There are cats around who hoard jewelry, tin, glass, beads, coins, and other things. In general, they are more likely to just move things around instead of actually going to hide or steal something from you. It helps to play more games with your cat, like chasing a toy around with them.
Toilet Manners
Aw, this little sweetie obviously visits the toilet a lot with mom and even imitates how she, well, pees. Not sure if a kitty can pee like this but she sure looks comfortable. By the expression on her face, it’s almost like she’s saying, “Look, mom. Am I doing it right, am I, am I doing it, right Mom?” So Cute!

In general, cats are inclined to go to the bathroom in the sand and dirt so when you show them where the litter box is they will just go there. You can really take it a level further and show them how to use the actual toilet and flush. They say to train your kitty you should use positive reinforcement to teach him new tricks. They have clickers, you can use moist treats, and just have patience with him.
The Cat Who’s Very Loved
Do you know how you tell if a cat is really loved? When their mom and dad dress them in baby clothes, a beanie, shoes, and gloves so that they can experience the snow without getting cold or wet. Kitty looks a tad uncomfortable but absolutely content and warm. That definitely is one very lucky cat. And that is a very precious picture.

You can tell that your cat feels loved when he chooses to come to cuddle with you or next to you if he is purring very loudly, if he wraps his tail around you or if he is licking you. When a cat licks you, he is showing you that he thinks of you like family and is going to groom you. If a cat comes to sleep with you while you are sleeping, then the cat is showing you that they really love sharing this with you and that they are being very vulnerable.
This Ready to Fire Cat
Cats love boxes, we all know that, but did this little kitty know what was on the outside of this box? The box says “Ready to Run!” Is he? The kitty actually looks very content in his box as he gets an outside view of the world. In fact, it is perfect for him. More cats in boxes, but this one has a translucent screen where you can see him, he can see you and he can feel comfortable at the same time.

Did you know that stray cats usually have a life span of about four years, but when a cat lives indoors it can live up to 16 years or even more? Maybe it is because of all the love that we give our pets, or the living conditions, or even both of these things.
The Cat Who Thinks He’s a Tiger
This kitty loves his bath time. In fact, it’s good to get cats used to the water, for bath time, when they are really young. That way they won’t scream, claw, bite and run for cover! This kitty looks so serene in the water. He probably knows what’s coming next – lots of bubbles to play with and smelling like flowers afterward. Cats do, after all, love to be clean.

Cats might like to be clean, but they do not like water. The Turkish Van cats actually like getting wet. Now if your cat isn’t enjoying the water that you put out for him to drink, that is a different story. If a cat is not drinking from a bowl it is most likely due to the shape of that bowl. Try switching it out and see what happens.
The Hitchhiker
This kitty can’t let his human leave the house without him. In fact, he has to tag along for the ride – even if that means sitting on the windscreen. Actually, you get a really good view this way since kitties just love sticking their bums into our faces. It’s almost like they have a treasure to show off. Come on, they’re cats – they know THEY are the treasure!

I mentioned this earlier, but cats enjoy warm spaces. In the wintertime, they will curl up on top of your tires, or near your engine when the car was recently shut off so that they can stay warm. Before you get into your car in the winter, make sure to check underneath so no cats get harmed.
The Inconspicuous Cat
“You can’t see me, nope you can’t!” Well, that’s what this cat is doing. He’s fitting in with all the other objects almost molding himself into the furniture. He’s also doing a pretty good job of staying absolutely still. It looks like he will be there for a while. It might be that he just can’t get out, but you know how these cats love to be in small spaces to feel more comfortable.

Did you know that when Abraham Lincoln was president, he had four pet cats that lived with him at the White House? If you are a male with a pet cat, you’re more likely to find true love. The cat owners are viewed as kind, trustworthy and sensitive people, so a person is more likely to trust you. Abe Lincoln must have known that when he adopted these four cats. Did these cats help him be a more trustworthy president?
Ok People, This is A Dog
Hmmmm, as much as this looks like a cat with another “fake” cat on top of it, you can clearly see that there is a dog that lurks underneath. If you know cats you’ll know one thing for sure, cat’s paws simply don’t look like that. Not one bit. They’re soft and cute and fluffy.

Just like with cats, people dress up their dogs all the time, from lions to house cats. Dogs might be more lenient than cats but if you see your dog is uncomfortable you should remove the costume. The animal can overheat or become tangled up. Something less intrusive is nice, like a bowtie or a small bandana. More fluffy things or outfits that can heat up the animal should just be used when it is wintertime.
Is It A Cat Or A Toy Baby?
Ok, well some people do look at their cats like their children and well, children often look at their pets as if they are their toys. This little kitty got herself stuck in baby clothes in a little toy doll stroller. Unfortunately, as cute as this looks it doesn’t seem that the kitty is very happy.

When it comes to children playing with cats, there are a few things to keep in mind. Try to supervise the interaction, and you can show your child how to pet the cat. We all know how much cats love being pet by people they love. You can pay attention to the cat’s reaction to the child being around, just to ensure that he doesn’t lose his patience, and if he does run away just allow him to hide.
The Best Friends
Maybe they are trying to communicate with aliens or perhaps they are trying on Halloween costumes together. They can even be trying to communicate with each other. Who knows? What we do know is that these two are best friends and this dad absolutely adores his little kitty. In fact, they try to do the same things as much as possible!

When a cat loves their owners, the possibilities are endless. However, cats don’t seem to enjoy this uncomfortable dress-up moment as much as their owners do. Like I mentioned earlier, if it’s wintertime then these animals can really enjoy a good fleece, but when it comes to something like aluminum foil, maybe it’s just not the best idea.
Waiting In Line
Is it the meat counter that these kitties are waiting for or is it the cheese counter that gets these kitties eagerly waiting at the door of the supermarket? Well, they are part of their own gang and know exactly what time the doors open. They are just planning their execution of entry perfectly!

When it comes to cats living in the wild, they are also carnivores that don’t change, but they will usually go for rodents like mice, squirrels, rabbits, birds, insects, reptiles, and fish. Perhaps these cats were home cats before they ended up in the wild, and understand how tasty it will be if someone feeds them at the supermarket. Just remember no sweets for the cat, as cats don’t particularly enjoy a sweet taste.
The “X-Cat”
Well, remember the character in “X-Men” who is like a liquid? Well, it looks like this cat has adopted that as he slips and slides out of his sleeping basket. That’s the thing with kitties’ bodies, they are amazing and fluid-like as this cutie shows.
3516
We know by now that cats are very flexible because of their type of spine. This cat looks like it isn’t even there at all. I know if I slept like that I would be spending a lot of money on physical therapy.
Did you know that a cat can also rotate each of its ears separately? Each of their ears has 32 muscles in total. The fuzzy hairs inside of a cat’s ears are called ‘ear furnishings’. They are there to make sure that dirt doesn’t go inside and it helps with their hearing.
The Fat “I Will Catch You” Kitty
The trap has been set, this kitty is busy waiting to catch his human and it looks like he cannot wait! Unfortunately, this human probably doesn’t even see his kitty and may fall into the trap. But we know what will happen should this man step on his cat’s tummy. The kitty will yelp, jump, and end up biting his ankles as kitty’s do so well!

Cats actually lie on their backs when they’re comfortable and happy. It’s a submissive sign and can show you that your cat is comfortable around you. They feel safe and protected, although, this cat’s face isn’t really giving off that impression. In this case, I would make sure not to touch him, and let him go get comfortable again.
Waiting To Eat
This cat is clearly used to the routine. He knows the drill. There needs to be a placemat, knife, and fork, maybe even a spoon sometimes – then food will come. I bet he cannot wait for whatever tasty treat or meal is coming his way. He really looks well behaved. What a good kitty!

It looks like there is more for us to be teaching cats. They can easily learn how to use the actual toilet instead of a litter box, so why not teach a cat to sit and wait patiently at the table for dinner to be ready. They even felt comfortable enough to give him a knife. If this really works, we can even try to teach him how to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’.
In Perfect Order
These kitties are awaiting something. We don’t know why but they sure do, as most cats do, love staring out of the window. Whatever they are staring at they sure are fixated. Perhaps they are staring at birds that have landed on the ground outside. Whatever the case may be, they are all super focused.

They do say that cats don’t have the natural lens like humans do that block the UV rays from reaching the retina. So, cats should be able to see UV light which could explain why they are used to hunting. However, cats will also stare at you if they think you are a reliable source of food. Perhaps there is some food there that they are waiting to hunt.
The Mischievous Kitty
Ooooh, it looks like this kitty is up to no good. Just look at that smile. We recognize this cat. This is one naughty cat up to no good. Or, perhaps he is extremely satisfied with the fact that he got into the basket and is occupying space you may want to use. He sure looks like a fun cat to have.

A lot of the time cats make a funny face using the ‘Flehmen response’ to draw a scent in and get a better whiff. A lot of the times a cat will make this face after smelling where another cat has sprayed. You can even call this the cat’s sixth sense, as they are basically tasting the scent.
He Really Wants In
This kitty really wants in. In fact, it looks like he’s tapping on the window. Well, he’s definitely squashing his body against the window and wants in. He just needs to plan the route. He just needs to squash his body low enough or lift the window with his paw – if he can!

Cats actually have a great sense of balance. The cat’s whiskers act as feelers and it helps the cat decide whether or not they can squeeze through tight spaces. They can also use the whiskers to sense air movement so they know if someone or something is coming. Cats also can turn around as they are falling to help them fall on all paws instead of wiping out.
The Happy Swinging Kitty
This beautiful cat loves to be treated like a baby and has the patience to sit in her swing waiting to be pushed, and even pose for a picture. She looks like a really happy cat and probably is used to this swing and getting pushed. I think this cat is also comfortable since it’s a nice tight space.

Did you know that cats have a way of telling them apart just like humans have unique fingerprints? Each and every cat has a completely different nose. Also, the only place that a cat has sweat glands is in his paws, so they can only sweat through there.
Historians actually believe that all of the species of cats came from just one of five different wild cats from Africa.
The Strangest Kitty Picture You Will See
Ok, what exactly is happening in this picture. It seems this kitty is puckering up and waiting to be kissed – really sloppily! Is that what we are really looking at though? We can’t really work out the expression on this cutie’s face because his face just looks…different. Kisses, kitty!

It could also be that this cat is experiencing ‘making the face’ just like the cat a while back. Maybe he is really trying to taste whatever scent is in the air.
While cats aren’t really showing their affection through kisses, they do have other ways they show their owner that they love them. If your cat rubs its face on you, they are claiming you as part of their family with having a comfortable and familiar scent for them to always smell. Also, if your cat tries to lick you clean, she is just showing you affection.
